Policy brief & purpose
Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company policy refers to our responsibility toward our environment. We understand our company exists in an ever-changing, interconnected world. We know our individual and corporate actions affect and impact the world around us. We therefore find that the social responsibility of our business is to give back to our employees, our communities and the world.
We’ll readily act to promote our identity as a socially aware and responsible business.
What is corporate social responsibility?
Our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) company policy outlines our efforts to give back to our employees, our communities and the world as it gives to us.
Scope
This policy applies to our company and its subsidiaries. It may also refer to suppliers and partners.
Policy elements
We want to be a responsible business that meets the highest standards of ethics and professionalism.
Our company’s social responsibility falls under two categories: compliance and proactiveness. Compliance refers to our company’s commitment to legality and willingness to observe community values. Proactiveness is every initiative to promote human rights, help communities, protect our employees and protect our natural environment.

Our company will:

• Ensure that all its business operations are legitimate
• Keep every partnership and collaboration open and transparent
Business ethics
We’ll always conduct business with integrity and respect to human rights. We’ll promote:
• Safety and fair dealing
• Respect toward the consumer
• Anti-bribery and anti-corruption practices
Protecting the environment
Our company recognizes the need to protect the natural environment. Keeping our environment clean and unpolluted is a benefit to all. As such we have:
- Become members of the MRS Net Zero pledge:
o Publishing carbon emissions
o Striving to be Net Zero by 2026
o Collaborating across the sector
o Encouraging call outs by employees and clients on environmental concerns - Work in a mainly paperless environment
o We publish our reports online
o Where it is not possible to use paperless, we use FSC certified or recycled paper.
o We have also eliminated plastic usage in the office. - As individuals we try to reduce our carbon emissions by using public transportation for work purposes whenever possible.

Protecting people
We’ll ensure that we:
- Don’t risk the health and safety of our employees and community:
o We strive to have a good work-life balance and ensure when needed we compensate the hours worked with days in lieu
o We encourage the practice of sports and exercise during the week
o We are committed to ensuring our employees mental health, safety and well-being - With the emergence of the Covid-19 pandemic we ensured we worked remotely to keep up with legislation and to ensure we kept our employees safe
- We maintained daily meetings to ensure employees felt involved
- We make continuous changes to our work environment and conditions in order to comply with legislations and regulations
- Don’t risk the health and safety of our employees and community:
o We pay our staff above the UK living wage and have holiday allowance in excess of what is legally required
- We have a diverse and multicultural workplace and do not tolerate any sort of discrimination, harassment or any other offensive behaviour and/or actions
- We are committed to continuous training to ensure we build and maintain equity and inclusion in our workplace
- We comply with the Equalities Act
- Our company is dedicated to protecting human rights. We work to ensure that our activities do not directly or indirectly violate human rights in any country (e.g. forced labour).
Proactiveness
Donations and aid
Our company may preserve a budget to make monetary donations. These donations will aim to:
- Advance the arts, education and community events.
o We currently financially support a school for neuro-diverse children - Alleviate those in need.
- Volunteering
- Advance the arts, education and community events.
o Our company encourages and accommodates our employees volunteering
- For those that already do their efforts range from volunteering for health causes, aiding the professional development of youth as well as sports events
Learning
- We actively invest in R&D:
o We provide in-house training
o We ensure we make space and encourage our employees to continue their education and training
- We support recent graduates to undertake the Diplomate in Principles of Market Research from the University of Georgia Centre for Continuing Education
- Graduates are awarded membership of ESOMAR
- We support ad-hoc training run by MRS and other professional bodies
o We encourage our employees to join networking associations and bodies. - We will be open to suggestions and listen carefully to ideas.
