Employment and Equality Policy

  • We have a diverse and multicultural workforce and do not tolerate discrimination by treating any individual less favourably than others on grounds of gender, colour, race, religion, sexual orientation, ethnic or national origin or disability.
We do not tolerate harassment or other offensive behaviour and actions (this includes any behaviour or action that may interfere with an employee’s performance and/or create a hostile, intimidating or offensive work environment).

  • We pay our staff above the UK living wage and ensure our holiday entitlement is in excess of the statutory minimum. In order to make sure we fully comply with our goals of maintaining a supportive work-life balance for all of our employees we regularly monitor working hours and offer time in lieu to compensate for extended hours worked.

  • We comply with the Equalities Act and are committed to supporting employees with disabilities through making reasonable adjustments at work. We also financially support a school for neuro-diverse children.

  • We place importance on attracting and retaining the best talent, maintaining commitment and developing employees through high quality training.
We are corporate members of the Market Research Society (MRS) and some of our employees hold the MRS Diploma. We also provide in-house training and support to recent graduates to undertake the Diploma in Principles of Market Research from the University of Georgia Centre for Continuing Education and graduates are awarded membership of ESOMAR.
We also support relevant ad-hoc external training run by the MRS or other professional bodies and encourage our employees to join networking associations and bodies.

  • We are a small organisation, so some of the formal legal requirements in the UK which apply to larger companies do not apply to us. However we recruit and reward people completely on merit through open and transparent application, selection and assessment processes, irrespective of protected characteristics.

  • We make every effort to ensure equality of opportunity and respect for human rights. We aim to provide a healthy and ethical work environment for all our employees and are committed to the policy of equal treatment of all our employees and applicants.
We expect employees and managers to treat one another professionally and with mutual respect, and the same applies when interacting with clients, contractors and the wider society that is affected by our work.

  • We strictly prohibit any corrupt practice and will not tolerate any violation of relevant laws and regulations relating to anti-corruption, bribery and other similar matters.
